Do not add a 500 mg mebendazole tablet on top of the 25/250 combination, and do not swap 500 mg mebendazole for 500 mg fenbendazole, unless a clinician has a separate, written reason.
Not a default schoolyard pinworm pack
Classic human threadworm courses often use mebendazole 100 mg, sometimes repeated after two weeks, plus hygiene. A 500 mg tablet is a different prescription. Do not self-select it because the name says mebendazole. Age, weight, pregnancy and other medicines belong with a doctor or pharmacist first.
Safety
Abdominal pain can occur as worms die. High-dose or long courses may affect liver enzymes or blood counts. Seek care for rash, jaundice, severe diarrhoea or allergic swelling. Keep 20×3 blister cards away from children. This SKU is not for COVID-19 or other viral illness.
