Eltroxin 75 mcg tablets contain thyroxine sodium 75 micrograms, also called levothyroxine. The bottle on this listing is labelled 120 tablets.
Clinicians use levothyroxine to replace thyroid hormone when the thyroid does not make enough. 75 mcg is a different strength from Eltroxin 25 mcg, 50 mcg and 100 mcg. The dose, and any change to it, is set from symptoms and blood tests, not from a pack size.
Packs ship with tracked post. Import and prescription rules in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand remain the recipient’s.

How it works
Thyroxine sodium is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone T4. After absorption it is converted in the body to triiodothyronine (T3), which regulates metabolism. Replacement aims to bring thyroid tests and symptoms back into the range a clinician sets. It is not a weight-loss medicine.
Take the dose your clinician prescribes, usually once daily on an empty stomach, at the same time each day, and at least 30 minutes before food. Swallow with water. Leave a gap of several hours before calcium, iron, or antacids, which can block absorption. Do not swap 75 mcg tablets for 25 mcg, 50 mcg or 100 mcg tablets, or change the microgram strength, because a larger pack arrived.
Do not use thyroxine for weight loss if thyroid tests are normal. Too much can cause palpitations, tremor, sweating, insomnia, chest pain, or bone and heart strain. Tell a clinician about heart disease, adrenal or pituitary disease, diabetes, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and other medicines, including warfarin and diabetes treatment. Seek urgent care for chest pain, severe headache, or a very fast heartbeat. Keep away from children.
